We’re pleased to have acted as lead Corporate Finance adviser to Salt Lake City-based, Clinical Innovations, on its acquisition of Brenner Medical GmbH.

Clinical Innovations is one of the largest medical device companies exclusively focussed on pregnancy, labour and the neonatal intensive care unit. Munich-based Brenner Medical has been a strong partner of Clinical Innovations for many years and offers innovative products for the fields of obstetrics and gynaecology.

Our Corporate Finance team, led by Partner Gary Partridge and Director Thomas Edwards worked with the Clinical Innovations teams in both the US and the UK to deliver the transaction which was in line with the original timetable set for completion.

This acquisition broadens Clinical Innovations’ infrastructure in Europe and overall global presence. The purchase will also provide a platform to improve product reach in Germany and builds on the successful creation of Clinical Innovations’ European subsidiary which was formed in the last three years.
