Phil joined FRP in 2024 as a Partner in the Corporate Finance team, following the acquisition of WilliamsAli Corporate Finance, which he co-founded in 2019.
Phil is a leading name in corporate finance in the North East, with more than 20 years of specialist experience in the field as a qualified accountant. He has a track record of supporting clients across a full spectrum of corporate finance matters.
During his career, he has worked within both practice and industry in a number of senior roles, including several years as in-house head of corporate finance at an AIM-listed PLC, and as finance director of a fast-growing energy business which he successfully sold to a PE-backed acquirer in 2019.
Phil has been involved in a number of major deals on a regional and national basis and was named as North East Young Dealmaker of the Year in 2011 and shortlisted for North East Dealmaker in 2024.
