A little about Iain
Iain joined FRP in 2017 and is a Director in our Restructuring Advisory team, working across Teesside, North Yorkshire and County Durham. As well as taking formal insolvency appointments, he sits on our national Technical Committee.
Iain has been involved in the restructuring advisory sector since 2007, having previously worked in general practice accountancy. He qualified as a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner in 2014 and deals with both corporate and personal matters, advising across all sectors.
Iain also works on advisory assignments and assists clients in negotiating with HMRC regarding time to pay agreements. His previous experience includes being appointed liquidator to enable the solvent winding up of a charity, helping the trustees to wind down the organisation and distribute surplus funds to a like-minded charity, and as liquidator of a multi-site takeaway delivery company, where he achieved a successful sale, ensuring all sites stayed open and saving around 80 jobs.
