A little about Iain
Iain joined FRP in 2013 as a Partner in Restructuring Advisory, and is based in our Aberdeen and Inverness offices. He is a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner with a wealth of experience dealing with a wide variety of sectors; he has handled many high-profile cases across the north-east and Highlands and Islands of Scotland, and has been taking formal insolvency appointments since 2002.
Iain has particular experience in agriculture, fisheries and shipping, and in dealing with complex partnership disputes acting as a court-appointed Judicial Factor. He acts for a range of stakeholders including all of the major clearing banks.
Previous assignments have included advising a farmers’ co-operative, undertaking an accelerated sale and full recovery of secured debt, and acting as administrator of a small chain of branded hotels, trading them in insolvency for eight months and selling them as going concerns.
